At 18 I began my medical career as a Dialysis Technician. For 12 years I worked alongside Dialysis Nurses and Nephrologists providing life-giving treatments to individuals with kidney failure. As a Registered Nurse I have worked as a Dialysis Nurse, Nurse Manager, Pediatric Nurse, and a Surgical Oncology Nurse, and Oncology Clinic Nurse. My passion for caring, educating, and empowering individuals has been my driving force for 20 years of service as a medical professional. One skill spans not only every area of healthcare, but can also be life-saving in any environment, and that is the ability to recognize and respond to life-threatening cardiac and respiratory conditions, a skill every individual can and should possess.
